Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Malaga

Your tour guide will pick you up at the airport and drive you to the handover of your bikes. Your luggage is brought to the hotel in our support van. As soon as we are in the saddle, we drive together to the hotel. You can use the time afterwards to visit the city. We will hold a tour briefing in the evening, after which we will enjoy a welcome meal with the team.

Day 2: Malaga – Granada 175km (around 3h 30 min effective time)

On our first day we enjoy our drive along the beautiful landscape that the abrupt Mediterranean coast of Malaga and its beautiful nature park “Sierra de Tejada” offers us. We steer our bikes into the mountain range to get to the UNESCO-listed city of Granada and enjoy the wonderful winding roads. In Granada we visit the spectacular palace fortress Alhambra, built by the Moorish caliphs in the 9th century and later expanded by the “Reyes Católicos” (Catholic Kings) after the conquest of Granada.

Day 3: Granada – Almeria 185km (around 3h 45 min)

Today we are becoming aware that Andalusia is a paradise for motorcycle tourism. Our way takes us to the Sierra Nevada natural park. This park includes the highest peak in mainland Spain, the Mulhacén (3,478 m). We approach Almería, leave the pine forests behind and enter a breathtaking backdrop. A desert landscape of eroded mountains. The colors of the different earth layers form a unique, raw and wild landscape of incomparable beauty. Almeria is the European city with the highest temperatures and the most sunny days per year. The fortress “Alcazaba” and its 1430 meters of wall is the largest Moorish building in Europe after the Alhambra.

Day 4: Almeria – Natural Park Cazorla 220km (around 3h 30 min)

The desert landscape continues enchanting us until we drive into the Sierra de Baza nature park. The olive groves will soon be visible. The geometrical arrangement of these groves conveys a feeling of calm and serenity. In order to reach Cazorla, we cruise through mountain passes near the same named nature park and we already guess what scenic beauty we will experience on day 5.

Day 5: Cazorla – Baeza 165km (around 4h)

We enjoy the incredible scenery that the Cazorla natural park offers. This is a must visit for motorcycle tourism in Andalusia. A deep, bright valley through which the Segura River along 70km quietly flows. The wonderful views of the open landscape and fantastic rock formations which are dominated by the Tranco Dam, are breathtaking. We leave the park and cruise through seas of olive trees, enveloped in their special scent. We reach Baeza our destination today, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its wealth in Renaissance architecture.

Day 6: Baeza – Antequera 240km (around 4h)

Today motorbike enjoyment is guaranteed by excellent, winding roads and amazing landscapes, along the natural park “Sierra Mágina” and the “Sierras Subbeticas”. Our way takes us along Alcala la Real and Priego, two cities with a special flair. Our goal is Antequera, this city is characterized by its archaeological and architectural past and therefore very nice to visit .

Day 7: Antequera – Málaga 240km (around 4h 30min)

Today we drive through the impressive karst landscape of “El Torcal de Antequera” and enjoy the Sierra of Malaga which leads us to the breathtaking city of Ronda. Through the amazing Sierra de las nieves we reach our destination today, Malaga, where we hand over our machines. In the evening we will enjoy the farewell dinner, and we will remember the wonderful moments lived in these days.

Day 8: Back home

It goes back home, thank you for participating in our tour. We hope you enjoyed a wonderful motorcycle vacation. We would love to see you again on one of our next tours along Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
